Blues boss Garry Monk is close to sealing a deal for Cardiff City striker, Omar Bogle.
Bogle, who spent the second-half of last season on loan at Peterborough, has been spotted at Wast Hills where it’s understood that he is undergoing a medical.
Ipswich Town hoped to seal a loan deal for the striker, but it appears Blues have won the race.
Bogle was part of the Blues academy setup for two years from 2009-2011.
With the current embargo constraints, Monk’s plans for the window have undoubtedly changed. Bogle will add competition and will look to make a real mark in the championship.
The 25-year-old’s lower league former is seriously impressive, he scored 35 times in 77 appearances for Grimsby, alongside scoring over 60 goals for Solihull Moors.
However, he has only found the back of the net six times in 26 championship games.
Here’s hoping that he can find his feet again and find some solid form for Blues.
Elsewhere, it’s being reported that Bournemouth winger, Connor Mahoney, is also being targeted.
