Blues join race to sign Bournemouth striker
2July 3, 2018 by Kane Styles.
Former Villa man Lewis Grabban is being chased by Blues boss Garry Monk.
Alan Nixon of The Sun reported that Blues are attempting to hijack Nottingham Forest’s deal for the 30-year-old.
The Bournemouth striker, who scored 20 times last campaign during loan spells at Sunderland and Villa, is available for £5 million this summer.
It is believed that Monk is chasing a midfielder from Europe, and has identified an English striker as another target. Reports suggest that the English striker could be Grabban or Ipswich Town forward Martyn Waghorn.
The £5 million fee that has been reported may come as a surprise given that Blues’ financial situation is unclear. However, David Stockdale is still expected to leave the club, and it wouldn’t be at all surprising to see Che Adams attract serious interest.
Get grabbin he scores anywhere, anytime seems a bit of fairy tale stuff !!!!!!
The possibility of selling Che surely defeats the object of looking for a striker. We need another striker besides the ones we have already…… KRO
