Blues look to have won the race to sign Southampton hot-shot Sam Gallagher.

The 6’4 striker spent last term on loan at Blackburn, but his 11 goals couldn’t prevent them from being relegated. 

Blues have beaten off competition from Wolves, Aston Villa and Derby. 

Gallagher, 21, is set to become Blues’ eighth addition, after Redknapp secured the loan signings of Carl Jenkinson and Cohen Bramall earlier today.
