Birmingham City have confirmed their opposition for the club’s 2016/17 home pre-season friendly match.

Blues will face Dutch side Roda JC Kerkrade at St Andrew’s on Saturday 30 July (3pm kick-off).

Roda finished 14th in last season’s Eredivisie, five points above the relegation zone.

De Koempels – The Miners, in English – are the only side from the province of Limburg to play in Holland’s top tier.

Roda, who have won the KNVB Cup as recently as 2000, averaged an attendance of 14,815 at their Parkstad Limburg Stadion home last season.

Ticket prices for the match, the first ever meeting between the two sides, are as follows:

• Adult Season Ticket Holder (18+) £8
• Adult Non- Season Ticket Holder (18+) £10
• Senior (65+) £5
• Student (ID required) £5
• Under 18 £1
