Birmingham City winger Jacques Maghoma has put pen-to-paper on a new deal with the club.
The 28-year-old’s contract will now run until 2018, with a further year’s option.
Maghoma enjoyed a solid debut season at St Andrew’s, scoring 5 goals in 40 league appearances.
The DR Congo international arrived at Blues on a free transfer from Sheffield Wednesday last summer.
With Demarai Gray the preferred option on the left wing up until his move to Leicester City in January, Maghoma was often required to make an impact coming off the bench.
He scored his first two Blues goals, in 2-0 wins at MK Dons and Leeds United, as a substitute.
However, an injury to David Cotterill in November afforded the former Burton Albion midfielder more playing time, and he scored winning goals in consecutive games at St Andrew’s against MK Dons and Brentford over the festive period.
Maghoma also netted the equaliser in the final home match of the season against Burnley in April .
