Birmingham City have today confirmed the signing of 18-year-old striker Jack Storer from Stevenage for a five-figure fee.
The youngster will complete his move on 9th May when the transfer window re-opens, and until then, can only train with Blues and play in fixtures that are behind-close-doors.
Storer’s move is based on a compensation package that, according to bcfc.com, “is structured on the player’s progression and success.”
The frontman, who can also play as an attacking midfielder, has put pen-to-paper on a six-month deal which sees him return to Blues after spending time in the St Andrew’s academy at under-15 level.
He will initially play in Blues’ development squad having made his Stevenage debut only last year against Leyton Orient in August.
