Birmingham City will start their campaign at home to Reading on the opening weekend of the 2015/16 SkyBet Championship.

The fixture list for the new season was announced this morning (Wednesday) and sees Gary Rowett’s side take on the Royals before facing Bristol Rovers in the first round of the Capital One Cup.

Following the opening day visit of Reading, Blues will play Burnley and Brentford away before taking on Derby and MK Dons to end the month.

The highly anticipated derby matches against Wolves will be played in October and March as Blues take on Kenny Jackett’s men at St. Andrew’s on October 31^st and travel to the Molineux March 12^th.

Over the festive period, Blues will be visiting Sheffield Wednesday on Boxing Day then facing Milton Keynes two days later.

A trip to Cardiff City will be the concluding fixture to the 2015/16 season on May 7^th.
