Birmingham City’s proposed move for full-back Paul Caddis is likely to stall due to the clubs poor financial state. Caddis is currently on a season-long loan from Swindon Town, and according to website Vital Swindon, the club may move for him once their goalkeeper Jack Butland has been offloaded.
Fulham have entered the race to sign Butland, according to The Telegraph. Martin Jol is keen on the young England ‘keeper and has made an enquiry.
Blues are interested in Charlton winger Danny Green. According to South London Press, a swap deal involving Wade Elliott could be on the cards.
Lee Clark’s enquiry for Barnsley midfielder Stephen Dawson was rebuffed this week according to Sky Sports who say that once the Tykes have appointed a new manager, Blues may return for the former Leyton Orient man.
