Blues boss Lee Clark has admitted in today’s Birmingham Mail that he is keen to extend Rob Hall’s loan from West Ham United. The initial deal is due to expire on January 12, but Clark hopes to have Hall for longer than first agreed.

Hall has impressed in his recent displays for Blues and set-up both goals in yesterday’s win at Barnsley. Clark told the Birmingham Mail- “He has a good work ethic and he’s certainly one of the players I’d like to extend on loan if possible come January”.

Hall, 19, has made six appearances for Blues so far. His dead ball ability hasn’t gone unnoticed. Clark continued- “His quality on the ball is terrific, his close control, he seems to send the defender the right way all the time in terms of trying to get them flat-footed to beat them and he delivers the right type of cross at the right time”.
