Football players earn A LOT of money. They get paid this gargantuan amount to do a job. Tens of thousands.

Now I’m not for one second suggesting all these ridiculous rumours are true (not going to delve into details for legal reasons) but my overall opinion is that footballers need bringing down a peg or two.

The manager is their boss. If my boss asks me to do something, I do it. He says ‘jump’, I say ‘how high’, whether I like it or not. I certainly don’t undermine him and I definitely don’t slate him.

I’d love to see one of these Footballers work eight hours a day, five / six days a week in an office or on a building site. Only then will they realise how privileged they are!
