Blues travel to the Amex Stadium tomorrow to take on league leaders Brighton & Hove Albion. Lee Clark has been picking up the pieces of the explosion that was Blues’ performance against Barnsley last weekend, the 5-0 loss was their highest home defeat since 1987. On the other hand, Brighton have been flying this season and are top of the Championship.

The visitors will be without Pablo Ibanez, Paul Caddis, David Murphy and Stephan Carr. Paul Robinson is likely to make his debut at left-back, after signing on a one-month contract. Marlon King is a doubt and will face a late fitness test and Hayden Mullins has come down with illness and is also unlikely to feature.

Before the Barnsley game, Blues looked to have been turning the corner after picking up seven points out of nine. But that disastrous performance at St. Andrews last week, the fans will want to see a reaction and watch the players fighting for the cause. Can Lee Clark turn it around? What is more important tomorrow, the result, or the reaction from the team? It will certainly be intriguing. Kick off is 5.20pm, but the game is not being screened live on Sky Sports.
